Dr Jun Dai FRACP
GERIATRIC AND GENERAL PHYSICIAN
Dr Jun Dai is a Consultant Geriatrician and General Physician who is broadly experienced and has worked at Central Gippsland Health and provides regular consulting services through Fitzpatrick House.
Geriatricians are sought after practitioners for older patients as they can simplify and rationalise medications and care after many years of ‘daisy chain’ general practitioner care. Indeed in contemporary health care many people need the overview of a skilled geriatrician who can improve general well being through deleting medication that is no longer necessary and provide advice on the ‘whole picture’.
Dr Dai is passionate about research and has peer reviewed publications on ‘falls prevention’, ‘RACF outreach services’, ‘dementia’, and ‘telemedicine’. Some works have been presented at national conferences and acknowledged with professional society awards.
