Fitzpatrick House is a specialist multi-disciplinary medical clinic that offers a wide array of medical and related services to the Gippsland community in south-east Victoria from Warragul, Foster and the Latrobe Valley through to Bairnsdale, Orbost and Mallacoota, as well as to the immediate Sale and Maffra community.

Fitzpatrick House is known throughout the district as a premier specialist medical centre that has been established for many decades and it is known to deliver excellence in medical and surgical care as well as related specialist services.

Fitzpatrick House itself is a well known landmark within Sale and the surrounding area opposite Central Gippsland Health Service. It is an Australian federation home, at first a prominent residence and then eventually a group specialist medical and surgical practice that gained its name from respect to Mr David Fitzpatrick, a general surgeon with lifelong commitment to the community and close links to the then Gippsland Base Hospital, now Central Gippsland Health Service which is situated across the road from the facility that now carries his name.

The building that is Fitzpatrick House is heritage listed and comprises a reception area, two patient waiting areas, six consultation rooms, medical transcription facilities, a nursing area, a procedure room and a staff kitchen.

The building conserves the original homestead with original features such as an old laundry area, produce storage areas including meat safe and an old well for drawing ground water. A number of significant trees populate the grounds scattered through the garden, including a very tall pine tree planted at Federation in 1901.

Fitzpatrick House is equipped with the latest software and computer equipment including two-way SMS patient appointment reminders as well the ability to accept secure encrypted electronic referrals from general practitioners. Online secure X-ray, CT, Nuclear Medicine and MRI imaging is available to each doctor on their desktop as well as integration with pathology services and medical correspondence in each patient record which allows for faster, more precise and better patient care.

Fitzpatrick House has easy access off Guthridge Parade opposite the hospital and has onsite parking for over 30 vehicles. A bus stop is also positioned next to the driveway entrance.

Apart from all this, the most important assets are the dedicated team of professionals and office staff who bring life to the facility and have worked at Fitzpatrick House for many years closely with Central Gippsland Health Service, the general practitioners within the area and allied community health facilities.
